Can you clean singles/45s?
We certainly can! To order 45 cleaning just select the corresponding package in our shop.
Can you clean other forms of media like CDs and DVDs?
We can, but we find dirt usually isn’t the reason for poor CD and DVD playback. Normally scratches, scuffs, or a damaged data layer are to blame. Scratches and scuffs can be polished out but a damaged data layer is irreparable. To tell which issue you have, take a look at the upper surface of your disc. If any of the printed label or silver surface has been scratched away you most likely have a damaged data layer.
I have seen someone selling records with a SlickDiscs certificate, what does this mean?
It means that you know the previous owner of these records took fantastic care of them. They have been professionally cleaned to improve sound quality and longevity. The certificate will state the date the record was cleaned and should be stamped for authenticity.
Do you sell my data or contact details to anyone?
Absolutely not! See our Privacy Policy for further information.
Can you guarantee that you won’t damage my records?
Yes, your valuable records are in safe hands, we will treat them as if they are our own. Our cleaning methods are tried, tested, and non-damaging.
What happens if my records get lost in the post?
This is extremely unlikely to happen as we send all packages containing customer property via Royal Mail Tracked 48 with Signature®. Should a loss occur however, we will investigate and take the necessary recovery steps.
Is there a minimum or maximum number of records I can send you for cleaning?
There is no minimum or maximum quantity we will take on.

Can I send records to you directly, using my own packaging and courier/postage?
We do not currently accept third party-posted records for cleaning. This is because we are not able to ensure parcels are packaged and insured adequately.
